Our public lands are at risk. TREAD is partnering with local businesses, land managers, and community members to launch One for the Outdoors—a two-part program connecting donations and volunteers with key outdoor recreation needs in the region.

The Wenatchee Valley 101 series for new residents officially kicks off with a dive into "Our Outdoor Places." New residents are invited to join us and learn about the region's outdoor recreation history, resources, and amenities.

In light of the upcoming election, we reached out to 24 candidates running for public office in districts affecting Chelan and Douglas counties to learn more about their views on key issues surrounding outdoor recreation in the area.

We are now accepting nominations for the 2024 Bob Parlette Award. Nominations are due by Friday, October 18.

The $131,000 grant will be used to assess regional funding options and explore a new governance structure for recreation enhancements near the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
