We are proud to say TREAD helped the Washington Bike Walk Roll Advocacy conference come to Wenatchee and we were a lead sponsor of the conference. Transportation industry leaders, bicycle advocates from all over the state, key speakers, and many community members attended. Executive Director Mat Lyons even moderated the opening Plenary Panel discussion with mayors from Leavenworth and Chelan, along with city employees from East Wenatchee and Wenatchee. TREAD also co-presented with Chelan County on the Pathways project, which seeks to find routes from the Apple Capital Loop trail to connect the communities of Rock Island, Malaga, Cashmere and Leavenworth. The project also seeks to connect Mason with Chelan, all on paved pathways!
